Beginning Water Polo for Children Ages 5 to 10
All classes take place at Los Alamitos High School
Held in shallow water, United Water Polo Club’s MiniPolo is the best place for your child to be introduced to the sport of water polo.
MiniPolo enables young people to play games, keep fit and active while throwing and catching a ball in the water. Designed for children who are comfortable in the water. As long as the children are enjoying themselves with their friends, throwing a ball around in the water, they’re on their way to playing MiniPolo.

Grommet Polo
All classes take place at Los Alamitos High School
For our more experienced MiniPolo players who are ready for something more challenging but are not quite ready for Age Group water polo, we have our GrommetPolo program.
Players receive more detailed instruction on ball handling, egg beatering and water polo skills. Enrollment is open to existing MiniPolo players with the coach’s recommendation as well as new players who have completed a brief skills test.
