Richard Cowan has over 22 years experience in the investment management business. He earned his BA in Economics/Mathematics from UC Santa Barbara, where he graduated with honors. Cowan was a founding partner of a 401K consulting firm, worked for a major insurance company, and currently works for a private investment company specializing in assisting nonprofits with their investment portfolios. He holds the designation of AIF(r), Accredited Investment Fiduciary. Richard has lived Rossmoor for 10 years, is the Outings Director for his sons' Boy Scout Troop, and has volunteered as a youth sports coach for local soccer and baseball leagues. He is married to Michele and they have two sons, Cameron (15) and Justin (11).
